  1. Ask any question first

This guide uses one question throughout so you can compare the answers.

Try it“What is the slope of a line?”

Try each one

  1. Give me an example

The tutor picks two points on a line and works out rise over run.

  2. Try different approach

Slope explained as the steepness of a hill — same idea, new picture.

  3. Explain simpler

When you're confused, ask for it simpler. The Explain simpler button appears automatically when the tutor senses you're stuck.

Try it“I'm still confused. Can you explain that simpler?”
  4. Quiz me

Answer the question in the chat; the tutor marks it and explains.

  5. Summarize this

Tidy notes you can copy straight into your notebook.

Copy, Read aloud and Try again

  1. Hover over (or tap) any answer

Copy puts the answer on your clipboard. Read reads it aloud — use the ⋯ menu for pause, replay and speed (0.75× to 2×). Try again asks for a fresh version of the same answer.
