Explore a solid in 3D

  1. Ask to see it in 3D

Name the shape and ask to see it. Cubes, prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones and spheres all work.

Try it“What is a rectangular prism? Show it to me in 3D”
  2. Spin it

A Canvas 3D model appears in the answer. Drag to rotate it. Underneath, the tutor lists faces, edges, vertices and angles.

  3. Use the controls

Toggle wireframe, auto-spin and face numbers, or reset the view.

  4. Lite 3D

The Lite 3D tab steps through faces with Previous/Next — light and fast on any device.

  5. 3D Scene

When it's offered, the 3D Scene tab builds a fully interactive scene from the lesson. Saved scenes appear in My Creations.

Graphs — and Make 3D

Where does y = x² − 4 cross the x-axis?Grades 8–10
  1. Set y = 0x² − 4 = 0Points on the x-axis have y = 0.
  2. Solvex² = 4 → x = ±2Both 2 and −2 square to 4.
Answer: At (−2, 0) and (2, 0)
  1. Ask for a graph

The tutor draws the graph and explains key points. Graphs and equations show a Make 3D button to turn them into a 3D model.

    Try it“Graph y = x^2 - 4 and show where it crosses the x-axis”
